Anxiety follows the stories of people who have sought psychotherapeutic help from Dr Manov, a psychoanalyst and psychotherapist of international recognition, and his wife Dr Yassenova, a psychologist, who specialises in child and adolescent counselling and therapy. The episodes delve into what is happening in each office and the relationship between the two therapists.

In 2001, Ilian Djevelekov co-founded Miramar Film and began making documentaries and commercials. His first feature film, Love.net (2011), was the country’s highest-grossing box office film that year. His second film, The Omnipresent (2017), won the Golden Rose for Best Film, Best Actor and Actress in a Leading Role, the Critics’ and the Audience Awards. He is the director, co-writer, and executive producer of the mini-series The Portal on Bulgarian National Television.
