In addition to personal opinions from interviews with his colleagues, relatives, students, and admirers, the story features the actor’s most significant performances in film, radio and theatre.

Momchil Karamitev is an actor, producer and director. He graduated from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. He has played many theatrical and cinematic roles in Bulgaria, USA and Italy. He studied at the elite Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica Silvio d’Amico in Italy, before specialising in Directing in Rome, and later Film Dramaturgy in New York. He directed the feature film, The Insurance (1998, together with Evgeny Mihaylov) and the documentaries Apostol Karamitev and Trace Ancestors in Occitanie (2017).
