A little boy Petyo is looking forward to growing up, counting the days to the start of the school year, when on a sunny morning, his mother lies to him that his father has gone abroad. Petyo is sent to his grandfather’s village on a forced vacation. There, Petyo discovers what friendship means when he meets 6-year-old Philip and the two of them face the Gang and the Truth.
Petrinel Gochev is a Bulgarian theater director and artist. He studied in the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts “Krastyo Sarafov”. “Bulgarian Ship Sinks in a Stormy Sea” is the first feature film for Petrinel as a director and his cinema debut.
