A woman who has tragically lost her young daughter, now can hardly leave the child’s room. On a midnight walk for cigarettes, she notices a boy holding a big tortoise. This strange encounter breaks the routine of her mourning and wakes the writer she used to be before her loss.
The imaginary meetings with the boy slowly and painfully change her. This process has a healing effect, and the woman is ready to try to live again.

Mariy Rosen is a graduate of the NATFA in Bulgaria. He has directed numerous independent theatre performances, both at national and regional theatres in Bulgaria, as well as in unconventional spaces.
His innovative approach has gained him the National Theatre Award „Icarus” for Best Director for his staging of Paul Zindel´s „The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds“. In the last few years, Mariy Rosen has focused mainly on script writing and developing his own movie projects.
