The sound of a violin takes us through a story about pain, loss, hate, obsession, and harassment… but all of that comes from profound love. Inspired by the life story of Niccolo Paganini, the film aims to narrate a powerfully tragic plot beautifully, to touch hearts, and to pass on a message, taking motifs from the life of the virtuosic violinist.

Stella Petrova studies Film and Television, as well as Photography, at the New Bulgarian University. She specialises in Film Directing and has created visual and audiovisual short works. Stella has held exhibitions and been awarded as a photographer: debut photo exhibition 2023/2024 at NBU; Honorable Mentions for distinguished shots (ND Awards); and selection for the Trieste Photo Days Photo Festival in Italy. The Black Cat is her debut short film as a director and screenwriter.
