In the slow, sticky summer of late-90s Eastern Europe, twelve-year-old Ro sets out to get a pirated copy of David Lynch’s Eraserhead. Her journey– through crumbling friendships, stolen cigarettes, and power struggles born of the VHS era–unfolds into a world where childhood quietly slips away, and cinema becomes the only possible way to escape.
