In his earlier years, Alexander suffered from obsessive-compulsive disorder caused by the problematic family in which he grew up. Currently, his condition is seemingly stable; but, then, his father dies in an accident. This catastrophic event unlocks even stronger obsessions and fears. A puzzle of rules and fears intertwines in both present and past. Oddballs often become problematic people, whereas problematic people turn out just to be oddballs.
Dimana Pastrakova graduated in Film and Television Directing from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts. She has worked on various projects, one of the most significant being the foundation of The Quarantine Short Film Festival in Varna. Pastrakova finds herself by telling other people’s stories—especially when such tales are difficult to accept.
