Martina Troanska graduated with an award for Best actress of the year from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts, in the class of Penko Gospodinov. Rising Star was nominated for the 2019 IKAR Awards. In 2021, she made her debut as a film director with Anyuta, an adaptation of Chekhov’s short story. The film was selected for more than ten international festivals. In 2023, she completed her Master’s Degree in Film Directing in the class of Georgi Dyulgerov.
