In a modernised version of a gloomy fairy tale, there is a young and innocent girl, Rougette. Repressed by her family and bullied at school, she finds comfort in her illusionary fairy-tale world—the complete opposite of her harsh reality. However, this world of hers collapses when something irreversible happens at a masquerade party in the forest.

Alexander Atanasov is a student, soon to graduate in Directing from New Bulgarian University. He has worked on the projects Yellow Traffic Light and In Red, the latter being his debut as a film director, and supported by the National Culture Fund.
