Classmates who graduated from school in 1990 gather to celebrate their 30-year reunion. The much anticipated party turns into a traumatic experience for many of them—old and new pains that haunt and hinder their lives come to the surface. The overall picture of their different destinies, their unfulfilled dreams, and their present goals, reflects the turbulent and uncertain years following the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Boyko Boyanov graduated in Film and Television Directing from the Bulgarian National Film and Television Academy. Director of several short films, as well as the documentary, Red, for Bulgarian National Television. He has directed numerous culinary shows, including the most successful one on the Bulgarian market, Bon Appetit. He has many years’ experience as an executive producer, production director, and AD. Executive producer of hundreds of commercials, and of several feature films with international participation. Class 90 is his feature debut.
