Asen explores rock monasteries at a Black Sea bay. He falls in love with Stela. She has been waiting in vain for 11 years for her missing lover to return. Asen discovers the truth about the man’s death but fears that Stela would not be able to accept it. In order to protect her fragile peace of mind, he leaves, without disclosing the truth.
Ivan Panev is a Bulgarian director and actor. He has directed the films “Foreigner” (2007), his graduation film, and “The Brother of the Snail”(2009), a BNTv film production, which received 6 nominations and 3 awards of the Bulgarian Film Academy in 2010. He acts in productions of the Theatre of Satire and the National Musical Theater in Sofia.
