Three friendly couples live in a commune, isolated from the outside world. After a while, the couples secretly swap their partners. These infidelities alienate them even more from each other. Guilt leads to unexpected twists, one of them, perhaps, being death itself…

Ivan Cherkelov graduated in Film Directing from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA), under Georgi Dyulgerov. He made his debut with the film Ballad and the feature film Pieces of Love (1988), which, in a 1993 survey conducted by Kultura newspaper, was listed among the top ten Bulgarian films of all time. His films have been broadcast many times on Bulgarian National Television. He has participated in film festivals in Germany, USA, Canada, France, India and Bulgaria.
