Phi 1.618 tells the story of a new race of immortal, biologically perfect humans, the Bio-Titans, who are preparing to leave Earth forever, on board the ship Whirligig. Against this utopian reality, protagonists Gargara and Krypton attempt to fight the foretold outcome and turn history around. They go through various adventures in a constant race against time and in the eternal battle between love and evil, humanity and unscrupulousness.

Theodore Ushev is a renowned animator, illustrator, director, author of some 20 remarkable animated films. He initially found fame in Bulgaria for his remarkable theatre posters of the 1990s. He currently lives in Montreal, Canada, where he produces his films in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada. Since 2010, he has taught and conducted workshops and masterclasses at more than 20 prestigious universities and festivals around the world.
