Stoyan, an elderly man, is suffering from progressive dementia, so his daughter, Iliana, decides to take him on a farewell trip around the country, for him to reunite with family, for her son, Vesko, to amass valuable memories with his grandfather; and for herself to spend with her dad whatever precious time is left before he stops recognising them.

Stanislav Donchev made his first short film with a VHS camera at the age of twelve. Screenwriter, director, and producer of two student feature films: Wanted (2000) won several awards, including the 2000 Golden Rose for Best Student Film. He acquired a Master’s Degree in Film and TV Directing at the New Bulgarian University, Sofia, where he lectured between 2003 and 2014. Director of Letters from Antarctica (2019), Rapid Response Corps (2012, 2014), Dream of Happiness (2016), and producer of Bubble Gum (2017). His film, The Little Marquise, won the History Guild Award at DOCK International Documentary Historical FF in Burgas.
