Ali and his daughter Tarika live a quiet yet isolated life in a Bulgarian village. Tarika has started to develop ‘butterfly wings’ — a rare bone disease inherited from her mother that has, for years, fueled superstition among the locals. As the small community’s intolerance grows into a threat, Ali will do anything to protect his daughter.
