Jana and Tony meet at the seaside. She is a girl spending her days lounging around the beaches and in the bars; he is a self-confident young journalist looking for adventure. One night, they secretly leave the crowd and, in a sporty Mercedes, set off to race the cars on the road. In the morning, they learn that a man has been run over. The two set up for themselves a trial of their conscience. Believing himself guilty, Tony wants to give himself up. But, the real perpetrator is caught. Their journey takes on a new direction…
