Bulgaria in the 1930s. A dramatic story about the young widow Toshka who lives in her mother-in-law Mariola’s home with her child and brother-in-law Ivan. Driven by the fear that, after the death of her son, her daughter-in-law could marry somebody else and take part in sharing the heritage, the main character (Mariola) decides to kill her…

Atanas Traykov is a Bulgarian actor and film director. He graduated in Acting from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in 1961. He directed the films The Four from the Wagon (1970), Thorn Apple (1972), Village Correspondent (1974), The Golden Key (1978) and Crystals (1982).
