Marko, a 60-year-old woodcarver and a homophobe, learns that his estranged, gay son has died in London, and that his partner and their adopted child are due to arrive in Marko’s town for the funeral, something that initially awakens the father’s buried shame and anger.

Martin acquired a BA in Illustration at The National Academy of Fine Arts before completing his MA in Film Directing at the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. He has produced two short animations, and in 2016, he directed his first short feature film, (un)Conscious. Bury a Dragon is his second short film and his debut feature is now in pre-production.
