Lawyer Maks Pinter acquits his client Dinko Horvat of charges for the double murder of his workers. Drunk, Maks confesses to Dinko that he killed the workers in cold blood. A clash with one of the most influential figures in society makes Maks an outcast. With Nina’s help, Maks sets out on a campaign of revenge.
