The 10th century. Powerful Bulgaria is shrouded in a secret that can shake the foundations of Christianity. The action follows the last days of Tsar Simeon I the Great and the months after his death. His youngest son, Bayan, searches for the secret of the lost ancient Bulgarian letters in a time of political intrigues, battles for supremacy and attempts to salvage peace between Preslav and Constantinople. Bulgarian might faces a test when young Prince Bayan meets Princess Maria, the granddaughter of the Byzantine emperor. Several other key characters whose actions can change the course of events stand out on the medieval scene…

Victor Chouchkov is a film and television director, actor, producer and screenwriter. He has produced a number of acclaimed films, such as Photo with Yuki; 18% Grey; and Shakespeare as a Street Dog; directed episodes of The Path of Honor and The War of the Letters, as well as the feature films 18% Grey and TILT.

Zoran Petrovski is a director involved in several of Bulgaria’s most successful TV shows over the past 15 years. He has directed many series episodes, such as: Glass Home; Revolution Z; Path of Honor, and won worldwide success with Undercover.
