Grandpa Mateyko is a lonely, retired man living in a beautiful mountain village. When petty crooks steal his logs, he confronts the corrupt politics and ridiculous incompetence of local government. In his attempt to fight against this injustice, Mateyko resorts to extreme measures.

Kristiyan Bozov graduated in Film and TV Directing in 2022 from the Krastyo Sarafov National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. He recently worked on-set as one of the production team and acted in the latest feature film by Hristina Grozeva and Petar Valchanov. His experience includes a number of TV commercials and music videos. He has directed two short films: the documentary Sredets (2020), and Woodworm (2022).
