A seemingly ideal family—the father Georgi lives with his son Ivan, his
daughter-in-law Tamara, and his grandson Emil. Beneath the layers of
this false idyll, generational conflict has long been brewing. Georgi is sent
to a nursing home. He manages to escape and indulge in new emotions,
wandering around Bulgaria.

Eduard Zahariev graduated in Film Directing from the Béla Balázs Academy
of Film and Dramatic Arts, Budapest, Hungary. For the 28 years between
1963 and 1991, he was a director at the Boyana Feature Film Studio. In
1976, he was awarded the Order of Cyril and Methodius 1st class and, in
May 1984, he received the title of Merited Artist.
